The birthday parties just weren’t earning them enough money.

Payday 2 is an interesting game, its based around heists and looking familiar to the film Point Break though I’m not sure if it’s supposed to do so. The game has you playing as either Hoxton, Dallas, Wolf or Chains. The main progression through the game is done through unlocking new weapons, armour, masks and progressing through the four different skill trees to help you take down enemies or increase your stealth…

Why I love…Timesplitters Future Perfect

This Vin Diesel Look-alike Cortez is Timesplitters main protagonist.

There is a reason why people cry out for Crytek (good choice of words) to make a new Timesplitters game, or a remake or a HD collection. It’s because Timesplitters was awesome, when I got round to play it on the original Xbox it was way into the next generation, and so a lot of the games didn’t really grab my attention, but Timesplitters did and I wasn’t expecting it to, hence my save file on it just being called “V”. The Basement Collection (PC) A collection of Edmund Mcmillen’s not so stellar games, at an affordable price.(£2.99)

Edmund Mcmillen the creator of two of my favourite games Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac. Previously having seen Indie Game: The Movie it made me want to look more into the early projects Edmund Mcmillen created. The Basement Collection features several games, unseen footage from Indie Game: The Movie, commentary’s about the different games, and little unlockables to get for the games ie for the game Spewer there is a particle test engine that you can mess with that Edmund Mcmillen himself used to help develop the game.
